Low Sugar Fruits that Aid in Weight Management
Often times when we are thinking about cutting back on sugar, we immediately eliminate soft drinks, snacks, and candy. While fresh fruit doesn't have any added sugar, it is important to pay attention to how much sugar you are consuming in the fruit that you eat if you are trying to management your weight. While fruit has fiber and other nutrients that junk food with added sugar doesn't, I still like to make sure that I am consuming low sugar fruits as much as possible when I can.

Below are just a few low sugar fruits:
Strawberries
Melon
Lemons
Limes
Raspberries
Peaches
Blackberries
Grapefruit
Of course fruit is a healthier option if you have a craving for something sweet. But some fruit have high sugar content that can spike your blood sugar. Just be mindful how much fruit you consume if you are managing your weight.
